ND Studies Trunks

Trunks

ND Studies Trunks is a program of the Audience Engagement and Museum Division of the State Historical Society of North Dakota.  The thematic trunks provide hands-on experiences for learners of all ages.

ND Studies Trunks can be used by schools, libraries, historical societies, retirement homes, or community groups. Artifacts, photographs, and documents contained in the trunks may create dialogues for a more comprehensive understanding of the work of historians in piecing together the tangible evidence of the past.

See a sample of what you'll find in a teacher guide with this new Dinosaurs, Sharks, and Woolly Mammoths trunk guide, covering 60 million years of North Dakota geology and paleontology.
